Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
1. Who this policy is for
This policy explains how the Hisense B2B Support Portal handles personal data for invited service partners, administrators, and other authorized business users. It is intended for global access, including users who may be located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions with privacy laws.
2. Data we collect
We collect account and business contact information such as name, email address, company, country, position, optional phone number, preferred language, invite-code usage, login sessions, IP address, browser user agent, download logs, feedback submissions, certification attempts, certificates, and support activity needed to run the portal.
3. Why we use the data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, provide technical documents, videos and software downloads, record certification results, respond to feedback, prevent abuse, maintain service logs, and meet business support obligations.
4. Legal bases
Where GDPR or similar rules apply, we rely on contract performance for account access and support resources, legitimate interests for service security, audit logs and abuse prevention, and consent where the portal asks for optional marketing communications or other optional processing.
5. Service providers and international transfer
The portal may use infrastructure and service providers such as Tencent Cloud, Cloudflare, Cloudflare R2, email providers, and related security or delivery services. Your data may be processed outside your country or region. Where legally required, appropriate safeguards such as data processing terms or transfer clauses should be maintained with those providers.
6. Retention
We keep account records while the account is active, session and security logs for a limited operational period, download and audit records as needed for service governance, and certification records while needed to verify qualification status. Data that is no longer needed should be deleted, anonymized, or archived under the company retention process.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or objection to certain processing. Requests should be submitted through your portal administrator or your Hisense service contact. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Security
We use authenticated access, encrypted HTTPS transport, password hashing, HTTP-only session cookies, protected resource access, and operational security controls. No online service can remove all risk, so users should keep their credentials confidential and report suspected misuse promptly.
9. Contact
For privacy requests or questions, contact your portal administrator or your Hisense service contact. A formal privacy mailbox should be added before production launch if the business designates one.
